A hexacopter drone was built from scratch and fitted with 2 subsystems. One of them is a computer system which consists of an onboard computer and a camera. The other system consists of a pump and a container to dispense the pesticide.
The drone autonomously flies over the fields and identifies the diseased plants through a CNN based machine learning model and the images from the videostream by the camera and sprays the fertilizer on plant in real time.
